PCOS Unfiltered: Nourish, Heal, Thrive

#86 Why Nothing is Working, With Allie Chandler (Part 2)

Episode Summary

In this powerful and deeply human episode of PCOS Unfiltered, Lindsie sits down for part 2 of the episode with Allie Chandler to unpack what healing really looks like—beyond diets, supplements, and surface-level strategies. What unfolds is a raw, honest conversation about chronic illness, PCOS, and the emotional and nervous system patterns that often go unaddressed in traditional care. Allie shares her journey from thriving to chronically ill, and the unexpected lessons she learned along the way—especially the realization that healing isn’t something you can force, hustle, or perfect your way into. Instead, it requires safety, patience, and a willingness to look at the deeper layers: trauma, identity, body image, and self-worth. Together, Lindsie and Allie challenge the “do more, try harder” mentality that so many women with PCOS fall into. They explore how perfectionism, extreme protocols, environmental stressors, and unresolved emotional experiences can all contribute to a body that feels stuck—despite doing “everything right.” This episode ultimately reframes healing as a process of supporting the body, not controlling it—and reminds listeners that their symptoms are not failures, but messages.

(0:00) There's always hope for healing and your body isn't broken. (0:04) It wants to heal like our bodies are brilliant like they actually don't want to be in these like (0:09) stress states. They sometimes they just need like the right protocols in the right order and (0:15) you know the right timing and everything. So I think just understanding that piece and then (0:21) I guess sort of related to that I had to learn that my value and my worth was not just in what (0:27) I could produce for the world and what I could do for other people. I was such a people pleaser (0:33) and like I don't know if any of you know the Enneagram. I'm a two so I'm like the helper (0:37) like the very people person. My relationships are everything to me and so I had to give that up in (0:44) healing because I was used to like in my friendships I'm the one planning everyone's (0:49) birthdays, buying people gifts, cooking dinner for everyone like I couldn't do any of that stuff (0:54) anymore. And so I just had to learn like you know my soul and like my heart is enough and who I am (1:02) is enough and I don't have to be constantly like doing doing doing because I think that's part of (1:07) why I crashed in the first place is like this stress of keep going push harder be the best at (1:14) everything. And so really like understanding that I'm valuable for who I am and not just what I can (1:21) do.That was a surprising part of healing for me because I wasn't expecting the need to like (1:26) go so deep into like my own beliefs about myself but I needed to do that in order to like (1:32) move past certain parts of healing and and feel like I was aligned with like my mind body and (1:38) and soul. Hey beautiful welcome back to PCOS unfiltered. I'm your host Lindsie and today's (1:47) conversation is one I know so many of you are going to feel deeply because we're not just (1:52) talking about PCOS we're talking about what happens when your body completely changes.(1:57) You don't have answers and you're left trying to figure it all out on your own.

(2:01) Today I'm joined by Allie Chandler who shares her incredibly powerful journey from being active (2:07) healthy and thriving to suddenly becoming chronically ill after a trip abroad navigating (2:12) years of symptoms misdiagnoses and ultimately having to become her own advocate in the healing (2:18) process. In this episode we go way beyond surface level conversations we talk about the gap between (2:24) conventional and functional medicine and why so many women fall through it what most people get (2:29) wrong about supplements especially with PCOS the real non-negotiables for healing hint it's not (2:36) just what you're eating and one of my favorite topics the nervous system trauma and why your (2:42) body needs to feel safe before it can actually heal.We also dive into the emotional side of this (2:47) journey the identity shifts the pressure to do everything right and the moment you realize (2:52) healing isn't about doing more it's about doing differently. If you've ever felt like you're doing (2:57) all the things and still not seeing results this episode is going to give you a completely new lens (3:02) to look through. (3:29) Okay let's do this here's my conversation with Allie Chandler. You talk about boring but magic (3:45) foundations. For someone with PCOS struggling with weight insulin resistance inflammation (3:51) what are the non-negotiables? Well so funny we talk about nervous system regulation that is one (3:58) that I think is super important and I'm sure a lot of people have heard of like cortisol (4:04) levels and if they're struggling with weight that can definitely like help you know block (4:09) block fat loss and um you know kind of impact insulin resistance which also makes it harder (4:15) to lose weight you know vagus nerve work breath work is great some of these like very free (4:21) basic components um and like I said if you if you're interested in limbic system or training (4:28) just google it and you'll learn a lot about like what are the things you can actually do and it's (4:33) all just internal brain work right it's like visualizations and it's these mantras and (4:39) affirmations that you say to yourself but I think anyone dealing with any sort of condition that all (4:45) these things kind of apply it's not necessarily PCOS specific yeah and so um you know blood sugar (4:51) too I'm sure you talk a lot about like food and nutrition and diet and also like you know when (4:58) to time different foods so work with someone who understands the nutrition side and like (5:04) when to eat carbs and what carbs are okay and like how to pair things together you know there's so (5:09) many different pieces especially for people with PCOS um and something interesting too is just (5:15) thinking about movement like even if you can do something really gentle you don't have to be doing (5:22) like marathons or these really intense heavy you know lifting because that can sometimes be (5:29) detrimental if you're not ready to do that but um you know like going for walks or if you want to do (5:34) some weight training and things like that of course we know that you know insulin sensitivity is (5:40) improved if you have muscles so there's all a lot of good things about you know taking the time to (5:44) build some muscle that can be helpful um and then I don't know if you see this a lot with people but (5:49) I found even like my friends who have PCOS a lot of them have a lot of gut issues I don't know if (5:55) that's something that you come across a lot or if that's a coincidence but I think like you know (6:00) the foundation of gut healing and the world we live in is you know there's so many toxins and (6:07) chemicals and we're ingesting all these things in our water and our air and um so even if you (6:13) eat organic and if even if you feel like you're doing a good job you're still going to be exposed (6:17) to a lot of these things and a lot of us have taken antibiotics multiple times in our lives so (6:23) even you know if it's not PCOS specific I do think thinking about your gut as a foundation is also (6:30) really important but I'm also curious to hear what you think on you know what are some of the (6:35) foundational because you are such a PCOS expert so sleep of course sleep is so important yes yes (6:43) yeah no I think yeah nervous system regulation is is key like the the basis for my my 90-day (6:50) program is breath work um and then kind of tackling some of that inner work to see you

(6:57) know where the ties are to you know emotional ties to to certain foods that we may not even realize (7:04) you know mindlessly we've just been going about these things for you know years um so yeah that's (7:11) definitely step number one the foundation I think for for any of it so that's probably why we (7:18) clicked because you know because you also understand that yeah um I mean the other thing is sure we can (7:26) talk about like removing foods all day long but even before that you really have to think about (7:32) adding adding in to really yeah start replacing with some good nutrients you know and then you're (7:41) body will naturally want to like kind of self-eliminate the other stuff that's not serving (7:46) you so really just flooding the body with with some nutrients and depending on where people are (7:51) that might mean adding like you know one protein or one veggie to one meal you know where I could (7:58) say I want you to do it yeah with each meal that might be a lot for for a lot of people and then (8:04) yeah I think movement I would you know I would agree um and I get I get asked too I'm like you (8:09) know what's what's the the best exercises for somebody with PCOS and we could argue you know (8:16) maybe you need to walk maybe you need a little bit of cardio maybe you just need all strength (8:20) training whatever but I always tell people I'm like it's whatever you will do whatever you feel (8:26) like serves you because I don't want to stress you out I don't want to tell you to lift weights if (8:30) you don't enjoy lifting weights if you enjoy yoga and going for some walks then do that like the (8:35) important thing is just moving your body because especially in today's world we're in front of (8:40) computers and we're in front of TVs then at the end of the day and we're not we're not getting (8:45) out there you know and just moving our body so even like just some stretching if you're if you (8:51) are stuck at a computer all day some stretching in between meetings can still be really super (8:56) beneficial you know if you can't get and that's the other thing too I think is when people hear (9:02) exercise that's why I try to say movement really over exercise because then they associate with (9:08) well I need like an hour of my day to do that and I don't have time for that and it's no if

(9:13) I have 10 minutes here and there that adds up that can still have a lot of benefit yeah definitely (9:18) yeah and I think I'm also of the mindset and I have to work against this is I'm like very type (9:25) a and very perfectionist so for me if somebody told me like you need to exercise I would be like (9:31) okay two hours a day every single day and like that's not gonna be helpful like pushing myself (9:37) into this like high stress like fight-or-flight adrenaline like that's not gonna be helpful to (9:43) my healing so if you're like that and you're like a you know high performer and you're kind of like (9:48) I need to check all the boxes off I'm gonna do it perfectly like that's so how I am and so I think (9:54) like part of healing has to be like be okay with doing a little bit or like you said with the meals (9:59) like be okay with starting slowly you don't have to like cold turkey get rid of everything in (10:05) your house I think sometimes people um maybe get misinformed where it's like oh there's a certain (10:12) diet for pcos let me throw everything away let me waste hundreds and hundreds of dollars yeah (10:18) my partner like who have my friends are probably like what are you doing like this is yeah you know (10:23) and I think like I like that you said that about just starting slow and do stuff that you can (10:28) feel good about and that you can just like check it off and be like I was successful at this like (10:33) I added protein to my breakfast every day this week that's a huge win you know it's like taking (10:39) little steps and also I think like the dopamine of being successful at something is also really (10:45) helpful rather than being like oh I failed because I had this like quote-unquote cheat meal or you (10:52) know I had something that I shouldn't have I feel like there's definitely this like diet culture (10:57) like food is bad food is good and you know that can also kind of be difficult for people (11:02) and it's really just like finding a balance and knowing what is good for your pcos or whatever (11:07) you're dealing with and do more of that like you said instead of eliminating all of it I feel like

(11:12) that's a lot more useful of a mindset than like get rid of xyz and 100 you know 100 different (11:19) things that's stressful yeah yeah I mean you have to think about like what you're gonna you know if (11:25) you truly want to feel better and want to make it a lifestyle and want it to you know last I think (11:31) you really have to think about what's what's gonna be realistic and what's gonna serve your body like (11:36) sure you might be able to do you know like you said two hours a day you know every day for a week (11:41) probably not but but like realistically you're not gonna stick to that you know I enjoy working (11:47) out I don't have time for that I don't necessarily want to be in the gym two hours every single day (11:52) you know and I think even that kind of goes with the supplements and stuff too like is that (11:57) something that you're going to actually take the rest of your life right you know and that's where (12:02) some of these other pieces need to come in like sure it can kind of bridge that gap and help you (12:07) you know get motivated and get there so that maybe maybe it'll give you a little bit more energy so (12:12) you can start adding some more movement in but then realistically in the long term you have to (12:17) really think about what are these things that you're gonna you know really focus on and really (12:21) stick to yeah totally I feel like everybody that I know with PCOS has a supplement graveyard of (12:28) things that they have oh I should be taking that I read a really good article and then you take it (12:33) for a month I do this I take it for a month or two and I'm so good at it and then I'm like oh (12:39) well you know we'll forget about that for like six months or seven months and then I'll see it (12:43) somewhere else and I'll be like oh shoot like there's you know that's something that I was (12:47) supposed to take but yeah I think like building in the small small wins is a really good idea (12:53) yeah yeah yeah I know I uh my husband my husband travels a lot for work and so I go with him (12:59) sometimes and um you know so I do travel like enough and yeah that's the other thing like (13:05) with supplements and stuff because I'm like realistically I'm not gonna be taking all of (13:09) this stuff for like you know for a week or whatever I'm gonna have like a whole other (13:14) suitcase just full of supplements yeah yeah yeah yeah you also help practitioners communicate (13:24) better with patients so what do you see holistic doctors missing when they're working especially (13:30) with PCOS patients yeah I would say part of it I think for them is understanding there can still be (13:40) like sort of root causes in conjunction with PCOS that can be impacting hormones and like the weight (13:48) gain and everything like it doesn't have to be only PCOS I feel like you know doing a little (13:54) bit deeper of a dive into like well do you have any like you know other things going on do you (13:59) have the gut health issue is a good example of that or do you have you know like parasites even (14:05) or you know heavy metals or are there other like toxins that maybe we need to address and even like

(14:12) digging into environmental factors I feel like is such an underrated um you know thing with (14:20) any chronic condition but also like hormone disruptors are you drinking out of plastic (14:25) are you microwaving plastic or you know there's like little things about lifestyle and you know (14:31) using glass and you know using kind of better quality with some things like that um so I think (14:37) a lot of practitioners that I've seen are uh they're a little bit like more strict I would (14:44) say like your approach is so doable and they're like okay like you know let's do this diet let's (14:51) let's do like an AIP diet which is very intense like that is like you don't even have eggs like (14:57) you can't have yeah really anything on that diet so I've seen this like very extreme swing where (15:04) probably yes it's anti-inflammatory and probably yes that will help with the weight loss or help (15:09) with some of these other side effects but I think what I love about what you talk about is (15:13) the foundations and like how do we like get the foundations on track and how do we like slowly (15:19) move toward this like balanced way of you know dealing with it where we're not being so extreme (15:25) or not like that's going to stress your body out too and we don't want to like have this sudden (15:29) like change where then you're like stressed because you're like oh I can't mess up at all (15:34) like we don't want to get into that um mindset and so I think part of it too is finding someone who (15:42) can understand and validate like the emotional side of PCOS because there's you know like there's (15:48) some factors that are very like integrated into body image like if you have the hair growth or (15:53) you have the weight gain and everything like that's a an entire side of it that you know I've (16:00) had a few when I was going through my PCOS diagnosis and kind of like figuring out my (16:06) treatment for that I was probably like 30-ish pounds more than I am now and it was a struggle (16:14) because I was like I don't feel like I feel like I'm eating really healthy I'm moving I'm exercising (16:19) like this doesn't make sense I don't feel like I'm aligned with like how my body looks right now

(16:24) and so I feel like that a lot of times practitioners would like gloss over that piece (16:29) but I do feel like working through like body image and the emotional side of healing is also (16:35) really important and same with nervous system which we talked about as well but kind of like (16:40) the whole bigger picture especially with PCOS and it's like very like I don't know I feel like (16:45) there's a very heavy tie to body image of course with PCOS and all the things that go along with it like the symptoms that (16:51) people have who have PCOS and even like the fertility and like the and there's a lot of (16:57) things that impact like your identity even so kind of like figuring out that piece of it along with (17:04) the protocols and the nervous system support and like the diet you know the nutrition piece (17:09) yeah yeah I mean that's that's why that's why I felt like I felt called to this community of (17:15) women with PCOS because I would see that in the ER you know and I wouldn't spend a whole lot of (17:19) time with them in the ER obviously but you would still just see how they were acting and reacting (17:24) you know to into conversations and and all that and you just you could tell what they were (17:32) that they were dealing with you know a lot of the body image stuff and then like you mentioned you (17:36) know the depression and anxiety and stuff that might that might go along with that you know (17:42) going back to what you were saying too about about the environment I think that is a super (17:47) important thing to bring up too because I do hear it you know and I see it like I'm in a few (17:53) Facebook groups you know for women with PCOS as well and they're like I'm eating they feel like (17:58) they're doing all the right things you know they've eliminated sugar they're eating well overall (18:02) and yeah there definitely could be more in the environment that we don't realize like there's (18:07) all these factors that can stress out the body and put you in that you know that fight or flight (18:14) response right I mean there's some that sure we can't you know we can't control all of it but (18:20) but I think taking a look at your home to see you know what are you washing your clothes in (18:25) what's your makeup what's in your makeup your your skincare products and like you said what (18:29) are you drinking out of you know all of that stuff I think is super important and even mold (18:35) like if you dive into like how horrible I mean mold's bad for pretty much every body part and

(18:42) organ and system in your body but it does impact hormones as well so yeah there's so many pieces (18:48) where I feel like a great practitioner will really dive into all those things with you and like (18:53) you know like you would talk about childhood or traumas or you know so many pieces to it (18:58) it's not just like a buy this one supplement and you'll be better and everything will be great (19:02) so yeah exactly it's a puzzle for sure yeah yeah what is the hardest truth that you had to (19:11) you know kind of accept on your own healing journey that you maybe wish someone had told (19:16) you earlier yeah I think for me I was used to my whole life being able to solve things like (19:24) if I work hard enough at this I'm going to get the A I'm going to be stay in volleyball or you (19:30) know I'm I'm going to accomplish the thing I'm setting out to accomplish if I just like work (19:35) hard enough and so when I was healing I feel like I approached healing in that same way where it was (19:42) like the more I do the better I'm going to feel right like you know if I just like dedicate all (19:49) this time to supplements diet all these things then in my head I'm like I should be better and (19:56) I wasn't so it was very baffling to me because I'm like I'm putting so much time and energy and (20:02) like stress and you know all the fight or flight and panic and all of this like I I wasn't even in (20:10) a healing state to be able to like receive all the nutrients and receive you know what the (20:15) the benefits of the supplements so I think just one learning that healing isn't going to be linear (20:21) and it's going to be this like up and down path and you're probably going to have some like really (20:27) great weeks and then you might have you know something where you're like oh my gosh the (20:31) cramps or this or my gut or you know all these things are feeling like I'm they're just crashing (20:36) around me but I feel like we see these charts all the time where it's like it's not just like an up

(20:42) you know an upward single line but as long as your trajectory like if you're trending in the right (20:48) direction there's going to be these ups and downs and just know like you're not you're not (20:53) heading all the way back to the beginning like whatever you're doing you're you're investing in (20:58) yourself and you're putting your best foot forward and maybe you're like this 80 20 where you're (21:03) doing your best on diet or you're you know you're most of the time you're doing all the things that (21:07) you should be doing and maybe you have a couple days off or you forget your supplements a few (21:12) days but as long as you're kind of like staying consistent just know that like it's not going to (21:18) be an overnight thing but you know if you put this work into yourself and especially give yourself (21:25) the foundations to like receive the healing and the nervous system support and all of these things (21:30) then just know like it is going to happen and there is hope for healing there's always hope (21:35) for healing and your body isn't broken it wants to heal like our bodies are brilliant like they (21:41) actually don't want to be in these like stress states they sometimes they just need like the (21:47) right protocols in the right order and you know the right timing and everything so i think just (21:53) understanding that piece and then i guess sort of related to that i had to learn that my value and (22:00) my worth was not just in what i could produce for the world and what i could do for other people (22:05) i was such a people pleaser and like i don't know if any of you know the enneagram i'm a i'm a two (22:11) so i'm like the helper like the very people person my relationships are everything to me (22:16) and so i had to give that up in healing because i was used to like in my friendships i'm the one (22:23) planning everyone's birthdays buying people gifts cooking dinner for everyone like i couldn't do any (22:28) of that stuff anymore and so i just had to learn like you know my soul and like my heart is enough (22:35) and who i am is enough and i don't have to be constantly like doing doing doing because i (22:41) think that's part of why i crashed in the first place is like this stress of keep going push (22:47) harder be the best at everything and so really like understanding that i'm valuable for who i (22:54) am and not just what i can do that was a surprising part of healing for me because i wasn't expecting (23:00) the need to like go so deep into like my own beliefs about myself but i needed to do that (23:06) in order to like move past certain parts of healing and and feel like i was aligned with like my mind (23:12) body and and soul again i feel like it was very fragmented when i was so sick i didn't really (23:18) like claim any of these things together because it felt very disjointed but um yeah so those are

(23:24) kind of the two two biggest takeaways for me yeah yeah i mean i like i'm yeah right there with (23:31) you like doing all the things you know saying yes to everything right you know trying to help (23:36) help everybody solve everybody's problems and and at some point it caught up with me as well and so (23:43) i hope for anybody listening because i feel like i probably heard that at some point like oh you (23:49) slow down right but you know you don't listen until you know until you have to listen (23:55) your body will make sure you listen in one way or another exactly exactly yeah yeah um so as we kind (24:04) of wrap up what's your vision for how pcos treatment and communication needs to evolve you know based (24:10) off of your experience and what you're seeing now with things yeah i would say like we talked about (24:15) the biggest thing i think is the nervous system support but also addressing trauma so we didn't (24:21) dive too far into this but um that was a big piece of my like hormone side of things is some trauma (24:29) around like weight when i was younger and like i would get bullied for how i looked in middle school (24:35) and you know that's such a traumatic time anyway to be a middle schooler and then you know and i (24:41) wasn't even like i wouldn't say i was hugely overweight i was like a little bit i've always (24:47) had like a little bit thicker of a body it's just kind of like my body type and um but i distinctly (24:53) remember like every single time someone bullied me about my weight when i was like 10 12 13 (24:59) and so a big part of my healing i felt like was addressing that trauma and not internalizing like (25:07) all of these things that people had said and there was someone very close to me in my childhood who (25:12) was very aggressively mean about my body too and so it was like a lot and not everyone has the (25:19) same story but you know with you know the hormone things a lot of times people at some point or (25:25) another will have some sort of body image concern or you know they'll have something um and so for (25:31) me a big part of that was really addressing that in therapy and feeling like i could like give that (25:37) up and not take that burden on because when i tell you like i remember the exact room i was in (25:44) what i was wearing who was there like those things imprint on you especially when you're (25:48) a kid and you're so young um and so i do think like more informed trauma um processing along (25:58) with the nervous system support can be really a beautiful way to kind of like start this healing (26:03) journey and not just pcos i feel like that's probably you know great for anyone but with pcos (26:09) and like we talked about like the body image stuff and kind of like sometimes there's emotional like (26:15) shame or guilt or you know there's these kind of like stuck emotions too that you can process

(26:20) through and there's a lot of different ways to do that but i do think this more holistic approach (26:26) for treating pcos is definitely it sounds like people are you know and people are educating (26:32) more on it and like i love everything you say about it so the word is getting out there even (26:37) on this podcast that you're getting it out into the world which i love so yeah i do think that (26:43) we're moving in the right direction and it's becoming more of this like whole body mind body (26:48) spirit how's your soul like they're we're we're not just physical vessels like there's so much (26:54) to us as humans and how do we take all of those things into moving forward into healing we can't (27:00) ignore like three out of four pieces of our bodies like we're all it's all together like we're (27:05) all this one little little human so yeah um yeah so i think moving in that direction is amazing and (27:11) and hopefully more people will jump on the nervous system regulation bandwagon and also like being (27:18) able to just know like hey you did your best and that's okay today like having um i guess like (27:24) having the lack of guilt and the lack of like pressure is really great for people as they're (27:30) healing and just like focus on the wins focus on the little things that you can do and don't get (27:35) so stressed if you're not 100 perfect because you're going to you know be on this healing (27:40) trajectory if you're doing the right thing so just hanging in there and you know being able to (27:45) not have the shame and the guilt and the pressure on you i think is you know really really important (27:52) yeah yeah i mean and i appreciate you saying that to you because you know you you've you've been (27:56) through it um and i i you know i've had other experts on i i've you know other conversations on (28:05) on some episodes and stuff where we do talk about you know traumas and the tie to pcos and (28:11) several other conditions um in in most cases probably a lot of conditions um and so (28:19) yeah it's definitely i like you said i think the trauma informed you know care is kind of (28:26) coming about more we are seeing that more and how that can all be connected and whether it's (28:31) pcos or anything else i think i think we're starting to you know wake up to the fact that (28:39) yes it's all tied together yeah absolutely i love that i'm really happy that that's becoming a part (28:46) of the conversation across the board so i think it's very needed yes for sure and you know and (28:52) and i think part of the other you know what i do with this podcast too is just introducing some of (28:58) those other therapies too like i have had somebody on that's talked about tapping um you know i talk (29:04) about human design like my sister-in-law and i've actually had uh somebody else that specifically (29:09) you know an expert that talks about human design and how she uses that just to better her (29:15) relationships you know she understands like how her spouse communicates better and how that can (29:19) help with your stress levels and your nervous system right yeah um so i think yeah just super (29:26) important and i really appreciate you bringing that up um last question is how can somebody find (29:32) you and connect with you i'll of course link everything in the show notes but i still like you (29:36) out there yeah so i would say one cool place to go is upsell.com brain and so i have a little (29:46) freebie there which is basically like none of it is supplements it's not any of like the physical (29:51) side it's just what did i do to get like my emotional body my mindset my mental health (29:58) you know limbic system all you know on track to heal so a lot of them are sort of like nervous (30:04) system or vagus nerve related a lot of them are free like you can look up eft on youtube you know (30:09) there's a lot of a lot of free resources so i think that's a great place to start and then um (30:14) i also have a patient archetype which i didn't talk too much about which we can link but

(30:18) if you're curious if you're struggling to find a practitioner that feels like a good fit and they (30:23) feel like they're super aligned in what you're looking for um i do have a patient archetype that (30:28) i'm working on a matching system that will intake like everything that you care about as a patient (30:34) and like your root causes and it'll be able to match you with practitioners and brands so um (30:40) that's just upsahelp.com slash archetype so those are two two kind of interesting places that you (30:44) can go awesome love it well thank you thank you so much for taking the time to be with me um and (30:51) you know sharing your story and uh i think so so much can be gained from anybody listening um so i (30:59) really really appreciate it yeah thank you for having me it's always great chatting with you (31:05) thank you i loved this conversation with ali we had a great time recording it and if this episode (31:17) resonated with you i want you to take a moment and ask yourself where am i trying to force my (31:23) body instead of actually supporting it because one of the biggest takeaways from today's (31:27) conversation is this your body isn't broken it's communicating and healing doesn't happen (31:33) through pressure perfection or doing more it happens when your body finally feels safe enough (31:38) to respond and that's exactly the work we do here if you loved this episode make sure to subscribe (31:44) so you don't miss what's coming next we have some incredible conversations lined up and share this (31:49) episode with someone who needs to hear it and leave a review it helps more women find these (31:54) conversations and start their own healing journey and as always if you're ready to go deeper whether (31:59) that's through my programs workshops or just learning how to better understand your body (32:03) you can find all of that in the show notes remember you don't have to live stuck in your (32:08) diagnosis that's it for now i'm sending you so much love and i'll see you on the next episode (32:13) of PCOS Unfiltered. Nourish. Heal. Thrive.
